The TL-Q5MC2-Z Inductive Proximity Sensor allows an output to be activated when it detects the presence of metal or ferromagnetic materials. It takes advantage of the inductive effect and can also detect aluminum, so such a sensor is suitable for replacing classic limit switches in the Z-axis of 3D printers or in small CNCs. It can be used to self-level the printing plane (managed by the appropriate programs) Activation can be easily controlled since a red LED signals it.
